DEGREE IN PHILOSOPHY AND EDUCATION SCIENCES
Degree in Philosophy and Educational Sciences from the University of Navarra in 1986.
His first contact with the cinema is with Elías Querejeta PC in “Las Cartas de Alou” in 1989. Since then he has worked in the production departments of more than thirty films. In 1999, together with Montxo Armendáriz, he set up the production company Oria Films with which he has produced several films, including “Silence Broken”, “Obaba” and “Don't be afraid”. At the moment he is in the post-production of the series "You are not special".
For the last ten years, he has given courses, talks and workshops on audiovisual production at the Menéndez Pelayo University, the International University of Valencia, the Alcorcón Film School, the Community of Madrid, the Public University of Navarra, the University of Granada, the Jaén Provincial Council, the Film Festival of Almería, Universidad Carlos III, Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, etc… and launches the advisory project for the audiovisual sector supported by the Ministry of Culture, #ConsultOria. For seven years she has been a teacher at the TAI School, where she teaches Executive Production classes in Masters, Degrees and Diplomas. She was nominated for the Goya awards in the category of Best Production Director for her work on “Obaba”, and has received the “Pau i Justicia” awards at the Humans Fest in Valencia and the Film and Human Rights award at the San Sebastian Festival. . President of AMA (Madrid Audiovisual Association) and member of the Council of Culture of the Community of Madrid from 2007 to 2018, President of PIAF (Federation of Federated Independent Audiovisual Producers) from 2018 to 2021, to the Advisory Committee of AC/E and from 2015 To date, he belongs to the Council of Culture of Navarra and since 2017 to the Board of Directors of FIPCA (Ibero-American Federation of Film and Audiovisual Producers). He is also a member of the Spanish Film Academy.
