Los PLATINO Awards of Ibero-American Cinema they are a project that was born in the first Forum EGEDA Fipca en 2013 in response to the need to promote audiovisual productions from Ibero-America among our audiences.

Since 2014, los PLATINO Awards of Ibero-American Cinema in each of its versions have brought together the entire industry and star system of Ibero-America, both film and television, in the same event, managing to identify us as a solid territory of audiovisual creation. The latter materializes one of Fipca's objectives: to identify ourselves as a common audiovisual production space, with a unique value and capable of competing with productions and awards from other countries, managing to attract the attention of the public and the press to our cinema and our series. .

FIPCA participates in the organization of these awards, which are held each year in a different city in one of the member countries.
